While the weather was a little colder than in past years, the spirit of the little trunk-or-treaters kept the crowd warm at the parish’s annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct 29. A record number of participants lined the parish parking lot to pass out candy. Two officers from the Brooklyn Police Department were on hand as well as the parish’s pastor, Fr. Bill, who provided an opening prayer prior to trunk or treating.
Parishioners encircled the north side of the parking, many of whom went all out to decorate their vehicle’s trunk with lights, Halloween decor and even a blow-up dragon.
Members of the parish’s high school youth ministry provided crowd control for the event.
