The Easter Message of PEACE continues…Yes, we continue, like the two disciples, “… on the way…” They are recounting how Jesus joined them on the way and how they recognized him in the breaking of the bread. Then before you know it – Jesus is there with them! Luke says that [Jesus] “…opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.”

We all probably think from time to time if it was ever that easy. But it is, with faith! We can reflect on Peter teaching the early sisters and brothers. Or even John reminding us of an Advocate with the Father, who helps us as we work to keep his word, so that the love of God can be truly perfected in us all. “Peace be with you!” Jesus says to us all. “Easter, Peace be with you!”

75 th Anniversary thoughts:
Do you see that more lights up in the dome are shining so brightly? I was told that, those lights haven’t worked for years, and it’s “just the way it always is…” (I often question challenges that start out …that’s the way it always is…) But with some great help, and hard work, the electrical wires were re-pulled, switches changed, and old lights re-energized!

Last week the conversation was started to look ahead to the future with fundraising and support, as we need to definitely continue the fundraising talk. But now, I want to continue to thank all the workers, volunteers, donors, and all of you, as we move forward. Just like the lights in the dome above us – we all will be re-energized and shining brighter again very soon. The peace and energy of Easter shines bright, if anything – just look up!
