Earlier this week, construction crews began installing a new walkway around the church. The first section connects the handicap entrance with the main church doors while the second section begins in corner the main parking lot and ends on the top landing of the main church entrance.
In addition, in a letter to school families (download below), Father Mike announced a half-million-dollar investment for improvements in the school. Replacing the school roof and updates to hallway flooring and lights are just a few of the projects set to begin once the school year ends. The repairs and improvements are made possible through the generosity of parish benefactors, support of weGiveCatholic and the parish’s Building For Our Future fund.
As parishioners enter the main doors of the church this weekend, they’ll notice some new audio-visual upgrades as well. A large television cart will greet churchgoers with some announcements and FORMED videos before, in-between and after Masses. This cart will also be used in the church's meeting rooms for videos and more. Crews are also in the final stages of installing the church’s new streaming system. The AV upgrades are a result of the parish receiving a grant from the Diocese of Cleveland’s Rooted in Faith program. Thank you to those who supported that campaign many years ago as the fruits are still blossoming around the parish.
