Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI dies at the age of 95

On Dec. 31, 2022, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI died at the age of 95. His funeral was celebrated by Pope Francis today, Jan. 5, 2023, with tens of thousands of mourners in Saint Peter's Square and countless watching around the world.
