Mardi Gras in Review: A night of fun and fundraising!

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the parish’s celebration of Mardi Gras returned on the Saturday before Ash Wednesday. The school hallways were filled with baskets and prizes as attendees bid on auction items and enjoy a delicious meal from Carrino’s Catering.

From Instant BINGO cards, sideboards, traditional BINGO and more, parishioners enjoyed a great evening that will help fund the refresh of the parish’s gym and Utopia Hall.

A big thank you to those who donated desserts for the Dessert Dash game. The game awards the highest bidder first choice of the desserts and an envelope. Inside three of the twenty-eight envelopes were a small slip of paper that noted that they won a $100, $50 or $25 gift card.

Not to be outdone by the popular dessert game, over 60 baskets and raffle items were up for grabs due to the generosity of many local businesses, parishioners, school families and more! Thank you for your support of Mardi Gras! A full list of donors will be published soon.

Those looking to continue the fun, our PTU is holding a Night at the Races on Saturday, April 22, 2023. More details will be available in the coming weeks.
