From the corner office is Father Mike's weekly bulletin column.
“Christ is risen.” “He is risen, indeed. Alleluia!” This very ancient greeting needs to be proclaimed this week and through the Easter Season! For whatever reason – the image of Christ laughing, with his head tilted back and a broad open mouth, also come into my head. With all of these readingS from the Vigil Mass and the Sunday Morning Mass, the whole of our creation, purpose, and future (salvation) have all been proclaimed. But take time as you’re re-reading and praying over all of these passages and look for the simple details that “personalize” the reading for you, yourself. For example, did you notice St. John mentioning three times that he outran the older St. Peter on their way to the tomb? Think about it, St. John covered this simple detail – three times! Let’s look at these readings and the whole season with a laugh and notice of the simple details that are in it for all of us! “Christ is risen. “He is risen, indeed. Alleluia!”

From the Pastor’s Desk:
HAPPY EASTER to all of you, your families, and friends! It is nice to welcome all of our family and friends joining us for this joyful feast! The grand “Thank YOU” goes out to all of those who helped pull together this Lenten Season, this Holy Week, and Triduum - - and all of you! Our family and friends. We take time to smile, and pray for those who were with us last Easter, but are now celebrating with the Risen Lord Jesus! We are a family of faith, supporting each other, as the St. Thomas More Parish.
May we all share the Easter Joy of the Risen Lord Jesus!
