We need to be God’s instruments! King David wants to build God a dwelling place and St. Paul calls for the glory of God through Jesus Christ as Mary simply says, “May it be done to me according to your word.” The simple statement of trust in God’s work shows the humility of Mary as an example for us all. We all need to work towards that trust in God so that we can be those “modern day shepherds” giving glory to God through Jesus Christ. Celebrate together as a family of faith this season and look for the opportunity to be an instrument of God!

The decorations are arranged, the plants are being placed in their positions, and the final cleaning of the pews has been completed. The next step will be for all of us to welcome, celebrate, and pray together as the parish of St. Thomas More, and the community.
