A reminder that this weekend, Nov. 9 and 10 is the final weekend to drop off food for the City of Brooklyn's Food Pantry that will assist local families during for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please bring items that would be used for a Thanksgiving dinner, such as sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, potatoes, vegetables, desserts, etc. They are also in need of peanut butter and cereal. Donations can be dropped off in the old baptistry room/library in the church.
We are currently collecting names of families, who live within the parish area who may need help for Christmas. The deadline to register is Dec. 2. Please contact the rectory if you are someone who. know needs assistance. The Advent Giving Tree will be available later this month.
And finally, we will be collecting NEW adult hats, scarves and gloves. Please put your items in the brown donation box in the main vestibule of the church by Sunday, Dec. 8th.
