Altar Servers

St. Thomas More ulitizes altar servers to assist the priest and deacon at Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Youth or "student" servers are generally used for weekend Masses, wedding and prayer services. "Adult" servers are used to serve funerals through out the week.

Servers should:

• For youth/student servers...be in 4th grade or above
• For adult servers, be available during the week and Saturday mornings for funerals.
• Attend Mass on a regular basis
• Be willing to be trained on the procedures for serving
