From the Corner Office is Father Mike’s weekly bulletin column.
We continue with the Scrutiny’s for the our RCIA group, and we also continue with the stories from the Old Testament of God’s mercy and how we are all saved according to St. Paul. The Responsorial Psalm stretches that link between the First and Second readings, singing that we must never forget God. The fun comes to us in the Gospel of St. John, in the middle portion speaking of God’s love, and how we “…that the world might be saved through him. [Jesus]” We are saved by just believing in Jesus. Remember the sporting events with the placard simply showing “John 3:16”? We all recall the phrase, “For God so loved the world…” Yes, a popular sign at the sporting games growing up. But do we believe it?

From the Pastor’s Desk:
Working through the season of Lent we have been trying our best to adding additional opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration, the celebration of the sacrament of Confession, Stations of the Cross, and even spiritual talks. We know that we can all attend the various gathers to help ourselves grow in our faith. We thank all those working to pull these times together, but do we remember to invite our family and friends to these different times of prayer and growth? Feel free to invite others!
