Our Case

St. Thomas More Parish is deeply committed to being a faithful steward of the sacred spaces entrusted to us—places where generations have gathered to worship, pray, and encounter Christ. Caring for our church and campus with intention, responsibility, and foresight is an essential part of honoring that trust. Called to Flourish invites us to renew and strengthen the parish’s savings so we can respond to the most urgent needs facing our parish today. At this time, it is critical to grow these savings to address major repairs in the following priority:

- Critical repairs to the church’s domed roof, which will be underway in August.

These repairs are essential to safeguarding the church’s structural integrity and protecting our parish family.

- Restoration of areas impacted by cement spalling, caused by long‑term water intrusion beneath the upper roof deck.

Left unaddressed, this deteriorationcompromises the structure of the church. Timely repairs will preserve the building entrusted to us and prevent more extensive damage in the future.

- Replacement of the parish HVAC system, which failed last summer.

Because our church has no operable windows, a reliable heating and cooling system is essential. This work will begin once the roofing projects are complete, allowing us to fully restore the usability of our church for liturgy, prayer, and parish life.
